About Alison

Ever thought Wonder Woman was a bit girlie?

Ever gone in one side of your minivan dressed normally and come out the other with your knickers over your pants?

Yes?

Then this is the blog for you.

Come join me as I chronicle my life as secret superhero cleverly disguised as a conventional, cat-loving, white-minivan-driving mom of two.

You will learn that you are not alone as you fly the skies fighting chaos and mayhem, putting scary monsters in their place and saving the world as you bring up humanity.

You will understand that it is necessary for your mission to go undercover as you infiltrate enemy lines and use tactics more subtle than shock and awe to achieve your goals.

You will realize that part of your mission is to achieve these things without pay or concern for your life or limb and that once the world has been saved, you will anonymously slip back into normal life without thanks or recognition.

Such is the Secret Life Of A Warrior Woman. A woman, apparently conventional but who is, in fact, a superhero.

Hi!

My name is Alison and I am a writer, blogger, life coach, T-Tapper, Brit, California resident, apparently conventional mom of twin boys who is, in fact, a superhero.

I write this blog as a way of celebrating the lives of women who appear regular and conservative but who are, in fact, fighters who defy the odds to live their lives intensely, vibrantly, with power and truth, overcoming obstacles, facing down authority and supporting those who believe in the same.

We may be school volunteers who do the school run and shop at Target but underneath those public personas are extraordinary women who have achieved, and continue to achieve, great things often under the most trying of conditions.

Please join me in challenging the stereotype!

Warrior women are we!

I hope you enjoy my ideas and opinions and perhaps, sometimes, learn something new or thoughtful.

Enjoy yourselves and have a great day!

P.S. Come on over and join in the conversation at the TSLWW Facebook Page.

P.P.S. Want to interview me for your website/course/brilliant warrior project? I’d love to talk to you! Send me a note & we’ll see what we can do!
